These timber treatment and damproofing sections of the company augment our structural repair work. The ability to combine structural repairs with infestation eradication removes any 'split-liability' which could otherwise occur, thus allowing clients to confidently approach restoration and repair of old buildings. We use the latest diagnostic electrical and chemical moisture meters and can include moisture profile mapping for rising damp, condensation, - relative humidity - dew point - ground salts analysis and infestation identification - all done by qualified experts. Surveys are accompanied by detailed reports in printed or digital format.

In keeping with modern environmental standards and practice, these sections favour a holistic approach to timber decay - keeping the use of pesticides to a minimum and concentrating on fighting fungal decay using desiccation methods when practical. When the need for a chemically assisted treatment is essential we use only the latest "green" formulations, offering low toxicity, low odour and minimal environmental impact. Nevertheless, all our treatments are effective in providing swift and efficient eradication of timber pests. Repair systems include resin strengthening of timber and traditional methods.
